How often do most of us have a complete refit of our kitchen cabinets?

If you are like me then the answer is almost never. You tend to move house more frequently.

Except in my case I've lived in my current house for 23 years and so have the kitchen cabinets.

When one set of the drawer runners in the kitchen cabinets decided to give up the ghost with the possibility of others following thereafter I thought that there was no way I could get replacements. Not after 23 years plus.

So instead of an expensive new kitchen refit, a replacement set of runners. And I know where to get further replacements as required.

And the new drawer runners? Running as smooth as a baby's bottom - to coin a well known saying.
