Kitchen Ideas - Quick Kitchen Makeover

Replacing old kitchen cabinet doors with new ones will give a kitchen a dramatic improvement without any major structural cahnges. If replacing all the kitchen doors are not possible for whatever reasons, you can replace just part of your kitchen with new doors and the result can still be impressive.

New kitchen wall cabinet doors with a new rangehood and a new splashback give an instant revitalisation to an existing kitchen.

The joint between a benchtop and a wall can look tired and mouldy in an old kitchen. A wall edging strip can be used to cover this joint to create a neat finish and to prevent water from penetrating between the wall and benchtop. They come in a variety of colours and materials (e.g. timber and plastic), are easy to install and can be cut to size.

A quick way to update your existing kitchen splashbacks is by installing pre-cut splashback panels over your existing splashbacks. They are easy to install and come in a range of sizes and colours to suit your kitchen.

Add extra storage space to your kitchen by using existing empty wall space above the bench with a range of wall accessories.

Replace your old rubbish bin sitting on the kitchen floor with a waste bin mounted inside a cupboard to reduce clutters and pests in the kitchen. You can choose a pull-out bin system for recycling or a simple one attached to the inside of the door.

If you want to brighten up your existing work surface but do not have electrical connections nearby, you can install battery-operated LED (Light Emitting Diodes) lights under your kitchen wall cupboards. These low-heat LED lights consume very little power and have a very long lifespan.
