Some history

Our average residential price had declined about 20% after the peak in April 2008. 2009 saw the market drop significantly (over 20%), then recover about 1/2 of the loss towards the end of the year. From 2010-2013 we saw a flat market with very little change in the average residential price point. As in past cycles, 2014 and 2015 have experienced small 4-5% price increases with a drop in inventory and a higher demand than previous years.

If the past tells us anything, we should see a steady diet of less inventory and higher demand for at least 5 years for residential housing in our area which will fuel price increases and turn from a buyers market to a full blown sellers market. Don't wait! That's our opinion!
