DESCRIPTION I really do like the way this all lays out. The kitchen has great detail, the timber,the flooring,the brickwork all very strong visually, then finally the glass splash back is added providing a warm strong finish to compliment all the other elements. It is the perfect accompaniment conjuring up thoughts of home baking and a deliciously rich mocha.

Grey Reflex provides a weight of tone which allows the panel to work with other elements of the kitchen. The biggest bonus is that the glass can be toughened which normal mirror can not be. Duo colours to enhance the overall space

DESCRIPTION Using a combination of single colours in a kitchen splashback can provide a strong focus without overpowering the space. As we look to utilize colour on glass we need not allow colour to control the entire kitchen or out of fear try to make the glass recede into the background. Their are other ways of achieving balance and strength.

Is this a good choice? Well that depends. For this to work you need to be able to make it belong. The rest of the decor needs to compliment this relatively radical approach.

Its great that the kitchen allows us the scope to do this. But if it isnt supported by the decor in adjoining rooms or the style of the building then it will be erroneous and very shortlived.

However if everything else supports this vibrancy then this is a very sharp look.

Black can be a very good choice in more instances that many people realize. Their are drawbacks too ie a mirror type reflection, smudges etc. But overall black does come out a winner in many situations.

In this example the splashback makes a huge statement but it does not impose any restrictions on other colours being brought into this kitchen. Whether you accessorise with orange, yellow, purple, green, or pink or a mixture of all of these. A black splashback will not be simply kind it will make those other colours look even better. DESCRIPTION One of the biggest issues for people who are looking at putting in a glass splashback is to select a colour that is going to stand the test of time. Sometimes it is more sensible to not use a different colour. Just because you can choose any colour in the world, does not actually mean that you should.
