Kitchen catcher

Use your 7-litre kitchen catcher to separate your organic waste indoors and reduce your number of trips out to your organics cart. To make cleaning easier, line your kitchen catcher with newspaper or brown paper bags - don't use plastic or biodegradable/compostable bags as they're not accepted in the organics cart.

About Pet Waste

Pet waste can't go in the organics cart because of its composition, and because most people use plastic to collect it and throw it out. Once our biofuel facility is operating, we’ll be able to accept it without issue.

Diapers can't go in the organics cart because of their plastic shell, even if they're made of biodegradable plastic.
