This is a lovely book! Geared towards preparing food and making meals with children in mind but I think it would work well for anyone looking for a nice, easy beginners cookbook too. Lots and lots of great pictures throughout the book and they all make the food look so tempting and fun to make.

The food and the recipes and the dietary info are all wonderfully presented but I think the biggest appeal of this book is that it's something that parents/carers can involve their children with when cooking/baking for the family. It's a very 'hand's on' type of book and actively encourages children to get involved.

There's nothing too taxing and with a little supervision even quite young children can help make the dishes and snacks. It's a wonderful book to get children interested in food, both preparing it and eating it.

And, it comes with a cute little carrot bookmark, slipped inside the back cover.

Very nicely presented and well worth investing in.
