There is no one style to qualify a kitchen as a luxury kitchen. but you will notice that most of our featured kitchens are large. Additional common features of luxury kitchens include:

Islands (often large) Granite counter tops Custom kitchen cabinets that extend to the ceiling Hardwood or tile flooring Custom lighting Tile back-splashes Stainless steel appliances Eat-in section at the island or large peninsula Glass-faced cupboards In a few cases, you’ll see examples of full double-sided refrigerators and two ovens.

Color schemes vary, but most are white or natural wood. A few use extensive stainless steel, but this isn’t common.

As for layout, this too varies from a traditional 3-sided kitchen, to long and wide galley kitchens with islands to open-concept kitchens.
