Rustic Kitchen Design Ideas - Canadian Log Homes

Hello everyone! I have recently returned home from working on a design project in Palm Springs that began with collecting a series of  beautiful images of rustic, farm-house and country kitchens for design inspiration. I often use images in order to kick-start the whole brain-storming process, and its a productive and enjoyable way to capture the essence  of what the home owner hopes to achieve. The home had been completely gutted, and we were looking to create harmony between both contemporary and rustic design elements. I thought it would be a great idea to share the images as a source of inspiration for those looking to create a rustic or country kitchen in their own home.  Rustic can take on many forms, and so viewing images is a great way to define and set perimeters. In the Palm Spring project, we were inspired by a painting and used this to draw out the palette of the rest of the home.
