#Request Free Credit Report (View Letter )

Use this letter ONLY if you've used your FREE Annual Report quota, but because of other qualifying criteria (see below) you still qualify for free credit reports.

The new Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act of 2003 (FACTA) requires the three national credit reporting agencies (CRAs) to provide a free copy of your credit report once per year, upon request. Go to the FTC's Website on Credit and locate the image Free Annual Credit Reports (look on the right side of the page). The link takes you to the annualcredit report.com website where you can request your free report.

Qualifying Criteria: If you have used your free credit report quotas but still need copies, you may still be able to obtain free copies of your personal credit reports, if you meet one or more of these criteria:

1. You're receiving public welfare assistance;
2. Your credit file contains inaccurate information due to fraud;
3. You've been denied credit or insurance within past 60 days; or
4. You're unemployed and intend to apply for employment within 60 days;
