Welcome to PB’s adult playground, Backyard Kitchen & Tap. We’ve set the stage here for everyone and anyone who wants to meet, eat, drink and (of course) play. As our name suggests, “Backyard” is a New American gastropub that is a natural addition to the lively, yet laidback neighborhood of Pacific Beach.

For the perfect mix of sand and swank, Backyard Kitchen & Tap offers silky wooden walls which open onto lush outdoor cabanas, fire pits, and an indoor/outdoor bar, setting the stage for live music and pulsing, after-dark DJ's. Come kick back behind our retracting garage-door windows along Garnet Avenue and take in the year-round “fresh-off-the-Pacific” summer breeze.

For a tasty brunch (Backyard Benedict, anyone?), lunch or dinner, Backyard satisfies every palate with scrumptious American favorites and spirits. From our signature selection of flatbreads to our array of steak and fresh fish entrees, you’ll discover a long list of reasons to return for more!
