Conception during your period is not common. It is important to remember that there are several weeks at the end of pregnancy that are perfectly normal for baby to be born in. Part of the reason for this is that unless you had medical help and knew exactly when you ovulated, it can vary a bit from woman to woman. Another reason for this is that due dates are often calculated from the lmp, but most women are not actually pregnant in that first week or so.

Due dates also get altered after ultrasound when measurements can be taken of baby. This, however, will also not provide an exact date of conception as at different stages of pregnancy, babies can develop at slightly different rates. Your doctor is giving you an estimate. it is not definite.

So, yes it is possible to have gotten pregnant from the sex on the 24th, if you happen to ovulate earlier than the norm, but it is more likely that it was from sex on the 28th.

The only way to know for sure is to test afterwards. This is one of the risks women take when having sex with two, or more, people within a short period.
