#Ikea Stenstorp Kitchen Trolley - My Fussy Eater A review of the Ikea Stenstorp Kitchen Trolley 2C1020" /% Ok so this is a slightly different post than usual it s not a recipe or a food review but something I purchased for my kitchen recently which I absolutely love and thought it might be useful to share if anyone is looking for something similar for their own home. Recently I ve been getting more and more frustrated about worktop space in my kitchen. My kitchen is a decent size but I never seem to have enough worktop space, especially if I m making several recipes at once, or cooking a particular ingredient-heavy meal. So I looked into ways of adding additional space that wouldn t take up too much room. My budget was tight but I found some really great solutions in Ikea. They have a few different types of kitchen trolleys but the Stenstorp model was my favourite. Costing £140 (or $199 in the US) the Stenstorp trolley really is a very affordable way of adding extra storage and space to your kitchen. It was relatively easy to assemble with two of us. It still is flatpack at the end of the day so the usual issues and frustrations apply but stick with it cause the end result is totally worth it! Our trolley has ended up a little wobbly but that is more our fault than Ikea s as we messed up some of the screws a little so they weren t totally straight. Fortunately this doesn t seem to have affected the strength of the trolley. It is still very sturdy and takes quite a bit of weight with no problems at all. 2C1020" /% Two of the legs of the trolley are fixed on wheels meaning you can move it around your kitchen depending on where you need it. The worktop is made from solid oak and there are two stainless steel shelves below, perfect for storage of kitchen appliances and utensils. If you want to customize your trolley there are various ways to do that, including adding drawers and hanging rails (just search ikea stenstorp hack in google or pinterest). As a food blogger I have found even more use in this trolley. I use it a lot now when taking photos of my recipes. I love that I can move it around the kitchen to find the best light. I store lots of my props and crockery underneath so they are easily accessible for me while I m shooting and I no longer have to root around in cupboards looking for specific plates or cups! 2C1020" /% So yes, the Ikea Stenstorp trolley gets a massive thumbs up from me. If you are desperate for some extra kitchen workspace then go check it out! I was not asked or paid by Ikea in any way to write this post. This is a genuine review of the product that I purchased myself!
