#Kitchen Sales - Interior Design - West Bridgewater, MA - Reviews Recommended Reviews
In a nutshell, I m sooooo happy I went with Kitchen Sales! I didn t use a General Contractor to coordinate my entire kitchen makeover - I handled it myself. I had no idea what I was doing - and Kitchen Sales was so wonderful! They helped me plan out the timing of everything (which has worked out perfectly!) - which helped me to make what could have potentially been a chaotic experience - into a really smooth one! The cabinets arrived last week and were installed this week. and they look gorgeous! I can t believe how great they look! It s exactly how I pictured it - if not better. And Kitchen Sales gave me suggestions on some of the options - and they really know what they re doing. I can t believe all the storage space I have! Their installers, by the way, were so friendly and professional as well. I can t wait for the countertops to be installed soon. Thank you, Barry Kitchen Sales - this is a VERY satisfied customer! :-)
KS was recommended by our installer. We spent a long time with the salesman. He knew I have an 11 by 11 kitchen and did not want to waste one inch anywhere. I believed we were ordering custom cabinets based on the trip out to measure, the detailed questions and choices, etc. I stupidly trusted they know math and would provide custom cabinets which would utilize every square inch. Not even close. I have a 4 inch gap between my cabinet and fridge. So much dead space in between other upper cabinets that if added together is enough to hold a row of fat mugs! The installer put the island in the wrong place that had I been home would not have happened which he did dismantle and redo according to my conversation with our salesperson that was not passed on properly. The installer did a nice job, however, I am now left with gorgeous box cabinets that are not custom, tons of dead space and a damaged brand new wood floor. Do not trust them. Buyer beware. I am such a fool for trusting that based on their years in busness they know how to get it right.
First to Review I ll preface my review by saying that my parents had kitchen sales install a kitchen in their home and to be fair, their experience (and end result) was satisfactory. In my case however, I m still scratching my head wondering how I didn t see this nighmare coming. My salesperson was friendly and professional. She was great in helping pick out what I needed. However, when I alerted her of some concerns about product defects and the installer, she was more surprised than empathetic. As far as solving my problems, I m still waiting. Having heard how wonderful the installer was from Kitchen Sales, I didn t flinch at his request that a check be waiting for him upon arrival. I had given him my phone number (as I wouldn t be home) in the event there were any issues. As I didn t hear from him, I expected all went as planned. Apparently, when the cabinets were delivered there were a few manufacturers defects - despite the defects, the installer installed them anyway. Also, the cabinet doors weren t hung evenly (sure, a minor adjustment - but when you re spending 15k on a kitchen project, is it reasonable to expect them to be straight?). The installer also didn t use a stud finder - instead just drilled holes in the wall until he found a beam. Lastly, I was left with a room full of empty boxes - apparently they don t remove them. When I called him to let him know that I was disappointed - his indignant retort was that I was being unreasonable and unrealistic. He told me it wasn t his fault (or Kitchen Sales ) that the cabinets had defects and then proceeded to admonish me until after a few minutes of listing to him bark at me I just hung up. I really couldn t believe what I was hearing. Stunned, I called my salesperson at kitchen sales. I made it clear that I did not want that person returning to my home - and that I needed to have this project done on time as I was renting out my apartment and had a tenant moving in shortly. She assured me I d receive a call from the manager the next day (Sunday). Nothing. Monday rolled around and still nothing. I called and spoke to a person who answered his phone as if he were already annoyed at the fact that he had to answer the phone. In short, he did absolutely nothing to acknowledge - much less address - my frustration. He simply replied you ll get a cabinet door in the mail. Make sure it has no defects. He went so far as to defend the vendor s actions and convey that my concerns weren t important. At the time of this writing, I m still waiting for a resolution - and not banking on much. I was excited to finally be able to afford a new kitchen. Kitchen sales was quick to run my credit card. However, now that I have a problem, I m on my own. If you were me, would you recommend Kitchen Sales to a friend or loved one? Was this review ?
