#Bespoke Glass Kitchen Splashbacks

If you are looking for kitchen and bathroom tile ideas, then you'll be inspired by our stunning painted glass worktops and splashbacks for kitchens and bathrooms, as well as our custom-made glass shower doors.

Glass Painting - Worktops and Splashbacks

Glass painting is one of the most exciting applications to glass that has happened in the last 20 years, but has particularly come to the fore during the last 10 years.

At abc Glass Processing we use a system called Glasskote; this is a revolutionary system that mixes an agent with your chosen paint to create a durable colour finish to the glass. One of the real benefits is the almost unlimited choice of colour. Our standard colours can be taken from the RAL colour range, although most colours can be matched.

The painting of the glass is the last process, so the glass can be cut, polished, drilled and toughened to any shape or size giving us unlimited applic ... Read more »

#Bespoke Kitchens - Handmade Designer Kitchens and Interiors by Edmondson Interiors Ltd. in Kent, UK

A very warm welcome to Edmondson Interiors!

When I founded this company 20 years ago, I was inspired by the memory of being measured for my first bespoke tailored suit: materials, style and size all in my father s control! I remember the attention paid to every detail on the cuff of the jacket: how wide it was, where it sat on my hand, the buttons I have to say I enjoyed the whole experience.

In the world of interiors, to this day I am proud to say that we emulate the approach and standards of the highest quality tailor. In a market where the word bespoke is used far too lightly, we are consistently praised for being different in offering something very special.

Our experienced designers and master craftsmen create utterly bespoke spaces and furniture which truly reflect the lives and needs of our clients: from the traditional and truly classic to the most ... Read more »

#Bella’s Kitchen - Sandwiches - Orange, CA - Reviews

Recommended Reviews

1 check-in

Bella s Kitchen is somewhat of a hidden gem. I am giving 5-stars strictly on one small part of this business that I believe everyone should try: the paninis.

They make their own bread and have this huge panini press. They make kaiser-roll shaped bread that is just the right hardness on the outside while soft on the inside for these paninis.

My absolute favorite is the Argentinean. It s full of fresh spinach and the slices of chicken breast with the melted cheese makes for a mouthful of flavor. I always ask them to add the sauteed mushroom mix to it. I think the sauteed mushrooms brings the whole sandwich together and compensates a little for some dryness you might find with the chicken breast. Get it on their cheese or tomato basil bread. Add a little siracha sauce each bite for an even better experience. I always wash it down with some Arizona Ice T ... Read more »

#Benchtop Materials

A dated kitchen can often lower the value of your home and hamper your enjoyment when using this important room in the home.

Purchasing new benchtops can have a significant visual impact, whether it is part of a complete kitchen redesign or a one-off home improvement.

There is a huge variety in benchtop materials, your The Good Guys Kitchens designer will be able to take you through the different types and colours and help you select the right benchtop for your kitchen.

Stone

Stone surfaces are stunning to look at and provide a touch of luxury to your cooking areas. The two most popular options are granite and marble.

Both are porous and will require regular sealing to prevent moisture and liquids penetrating your benchtops. However, by simply cleaning any spills as they happen and using only natural cleaning products, caring for your stone surfaces can be done with ease.

#Best Kitchen Tables for Small Spaces

When you're shopping for a kitchen table. you have to consider style, function, and size. If the room isn't very large, size may seem to outweigh the other factors, but it shouldn't stop you from buying a kitchen table you really like. You don't have to sacrifice style just to get a kitchen table into your apartment or small home. Some shapes work better in small spaces than others, and some features can help you make the most of the room you have.

Best Small Space Tables:

Shop Kitchen Tables

A square will take up less room than a rectangle, and you can always seat at least four people there, one on each side. A square that is at least 32-inches to 42-inches wide will comfortably seat four. If you only need dining for two, look for square dining tables that measure 24-inches to 30-inches wide.

While there are large round tables out there, you'll find many smaller ones, too. Some roun ... Read more »

#Black and white kitchen accessories in funky geometric patterns

My parents kitchen is entirely black and white, so whenever I see a standout piece, I have to pick it up for my mom. I m hoping that my recent finds in the Stockholm kitchen accessories collection from Rosanna Inc. will have me in the running for daughter of the year.

I love these Scandinavian-inspired designs which feature funky 60s throwback geometric patterns that fit right in in 2014. I m in organizational mode for back to school and beyond, so I have my eye on the porcelain canister collection with bamboo lids I m actually considering moving the flour and sugar to a more permanent home on my kitchen counter. And this coffee fiend also finds the mug set featuring all four patterns mighty attractive.

There is something so mature about this collection, which is something I m trying for more of in my eclectic home decorating approach. Whether it s for me, for a fun hostess g ... Read more »

Ceramic tile has long been a popular kitchen floor choice because of its resilience and wide range of style options. When properly grouted and sealed, ceramic tile will resist any kind of kitchen spill. And because ceramic tile is almost rock-hard, it stands up well to traffic.

The only problem is that it looks like ... Read more »

#Build a kitchen island - Canadian Home Workshop

Add tabletop convenience with storage to spare

No man is an island, but if you build one for your kitchen you ll rarely be alone. A great kitchen island draws people together, giving them a place to hang around and talk as the chef prepares a meal. It also boosts storage capacity and food prep area in your kitchen.

Instructions

Top Job

I began by planing some rough maple to 1 1/2" thick for the top. When you're edge-gluing boards into a large assembly like this, it's best to alternate the arc of the growth rings from one board to the next. You should also alternate your clamps above and below the assembly to prevent bowing. Use just enough pressure to squeeze out a bead of glue, then stop tightening. If you squeeze out too much glue, you'll create a weak joint.

Let the tabletop dry for a day, then sand it and joint one edge. Trim the ends with a circular saw. (The tabletop is too ... Read more »

#Bon App - tit - s private kitchen at 1 World Trade Center hosts guest chef Andrew Carmellini: Architectural Digest

Bon Appétit’ s new entertaining space in 1 World Trade Center pairs sleek design with warm, artisanal accents.

Tucked away past a series of unmarked doors in New York City’s newest landmark, 1 World Trade Center, BA Kitchen—Bon Appétit magazine’s exclusive new cooking, entertaining, and event space—will host its inaugural soirée tonight.

“It’s like the PDT of 1 World Trade,” jokes Pamela Drucker Mann, publisher and chief revenue officer at Bon Appétit and Epicurious. She’s referring to the famous East Village bar (an acronym for Please Don’t Tell) only accessible through a telephone booth at the back of a hot dog joint. “If we only had a phone booth, it would be perfect.”

And walking into the rustic-meets-modern space—designed by architecture firm Gensler with Bon Appétit editor in chief Adam Rapoport and Calv ... Read more »

#Yankee Kitchen Ninja

Avocado goddess dressing

Jazz up your next meal salad or roast chicken dinner with this 5-minute, herb-filled, healthy avocado goddess dressing.

Sometimes it s the little things that can make or break your meal.

Am I right? Can I get an amen?

Like salad dressing. I ve been in a simple balsamic vinaigrette rut lately. Not that the vinaigrette isn t good, it s just that I feel I should be whipping up batches of shallot dressing or sushi-restaurant-inspired ginger dressing or even classic buttermilk ranch dressing . but I just haven t. And it s bumming out my salads.

Until recently.

And it s because of herbs. My garden this year, post-relocation, consists of a couple of planters of vegetables on our back patio. Given the end-of-days, seemingly non-stop rain storms we ve had nearly all summer long, coupled with the 30,000 crafty, tomato-stealing squirrels and deer, my supply of homegrown ... Read more »

#Builder-Grade Kitchen Converted Into Top-Of-The-Line Cooking Venue

When the homeowners began this kitchen remodel process, they were looking to redesign and completely reinvent their “builder grade” kitchen. Nothing was broken necessarily, but they never liked the design and the materials were lackluster. Case Design/Remodeling, Inc.  was enlisted to transform the kitchen into the owners’ dream cooking center. The final kitchen features top-of-the-line finishes and appliances including separate refrigerator and freezer units by Sub-Zero, a 48” dual fuel Wolf range with integral grill, a custom stainless/oil-rubbed bronze hood, Bosch dishwasher with custom cabinetry panel, and a Sharp microwave drawer.

Additionally, there were a few “his” and “her” requests for the new kitchen. For her, it was important to methodically plan each and every cabinet to include rollout shelving, toekick drawers at the island, and legs that flank the range and i ... Read more »

#Budget Breakdown for a Typical NYC Kitchen Renovation

In March, we took a look at the cost breakdown of the average NYC bathroom renovation. This week, we re moving on to the first of a two-part series on kitchen renovation pricing. We talked with Sweeten Experts Valeria and Eduard  as well as Sweeten Expert Peter  for a transparent look at the basic and variable costs of a typical kitchen renovation.

The realization that struck me after talking with these experts is that homeowners have a lot of choice in managing costs on some  material aspects of a kitchen renovation, but there are other costs that are less-obvious, labor-intensive, and tremendously critical to the work overall, no matter what you choose to spend on materials. Let s take a look at both the straightforward and behind-the-scenes costs.

#Bringing a modern look to a kitchen with new window treatments and area rugs - Curtain and Bath News

If you re trying to give a new house a more contemporary feel, the first place you might want to start is your kitchen. Chances are, the kitchen curtains and decorative items are dated and holding the room back from showing its true potential.

When breathing new life into a high-traffic area, such as a kitchen, it s important to look for design elements that could quickly and efficiently revitalize the space. For example, area rugs are one way to make a kitchen feel more homey without completely changing the flooring. Depending on the pattern and color, area rugs can also give a kitchen a modern vibe.

Swapping out the old, drab kitchen curtains for new window treatments can also do wonders for a room. Look for drapes in a bold color, such as red or navy, for a true contemporary statement. Think about putting up sheer window treatments to allow more natural light to ... Read more »
