Looks

This model of faucet comes in a teapot design which doesn’t sound that inspiring, but when you see it you’ll soon understand why it’s so charming. In fact, you could say it has a sort “shabby chic” look. The manufacturer has also thought about versatility in this department, and you can choose from 5 colors.

It comes in classic stainless steel, arctic and chrome steel, champagne and Venetian bronze. All of the colors give this faucet its own sense of style and it means you don’t have to worry about building the theme in your kitchen around it (that would just be silly)!

Functionality

The 9178-AR-DST comes with a high arc spout that has the ability to swivel a full 360 degrees for ease of use. Because there is only one lever to deal with switching from hot to cold is really simple, and adjusting the flow is precise due to the internal technology used.

Of course, you can easily switch from a stream of water to a spray, the manufacturer has added a very clever touch when it comes to the spray mechanism. The spray wand has a magnetic feature. This means each time it retracts, it’s held in place without an issue.

You may need some help with installation, but for those of you with a bit of DIY plumbing experience you should be able to handle this, and you can choose from an escutcheon plate for three hole installation or one hole.

Overall, I think this is one of the most attractive faucets on the market and will allow you to add your own “stamp” in terms of style in your kitchen. It uses Diamond Seal technology so leaks will never be a problem, and it’s also backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
