This is the kitchen hutch I just finished in our kitchen. It is about 12 feet long and 7 1/2 feet high. (So it s a little hard to get pictures of the whole thing.) I have been working on this since March.

The left most section is a TV/Stereo cabinet, the next two sections are display/storage and the last section is a desk for my wife.

The first picture shows the whole thing. The second is mostly to show the desk. The third photo shows the combination plate rack/glass holder in the third section. This was very challenging from a design point of view (the execution was a bit taxing as well).

The forth photo shows how each cabinet has slide out trays. Section two is shown, section three has two double width slide outs that hold lots of dishes. The slides are all rated at 100 lbs, but dishes add up quick.

We've been working hard up at the Momplex, really trying to get to the point of kitchens up there soon!  But in the meantime, I want to keep the plans coming for you as well!

Upon much requests from you, today's plan (see below) is a corner wall kitchen cabinet that works with these wall kitchen cabinets.  It's important to note that this plan specifically works with a wall cabinet with 11 3/4" width plywood rips to get face frames to match up perfectly.

I also recommend beg/borrow/steal/rent whatever you have to do to get a good table saw for building this cabinet.  The cabinet requires 45 bevel cuts - there's no way around it.  If you can't get your hands on a table saw, I will also be posting a blind corner wall cabinet that will not require any bevel rips.

Drawer liners (optional)

Remove the drawers from the cabinet and measure each one for length, width and depth. Order replacement drawer boxes in either plastic or wood. Check with the company to make sure the placement of your drawer slides will be compatible with the replacement drawer.

Use a piece of masking tape to mark the drawer's location before you empty it. On the back side of the drawer face, remove the screws holding the plastic drawer in place. If the drawer face is glued to the drawer front, use a putty knife to gently pry the plastic off the drawer front.

Use solvent to remove any glue residue. Clean the surface with a grease cleaner. Make sure the surface is thoroughly dry before proceeding.
