The company is very unprofessional handling their subscriptions.  I had initially indicated that I wanted a 1 year subscription, but later changed my mind when realized that the content was very similar to another magazine that I subscribe to.  I wanted to cancel, but Veranda just kept sending me threatening notices to ruin my credit, etc. if I didn t pay.  Unfortunately, they never once sent me their phone number to call or listed an option to indicate cancel on their letters.  It was very disturbing experience and will NEVER again use their services.

First to Review

For years I bought this magazine off the stands.  It was a delight - a pleasure to read and a pleasure to admire the beautiful rooms and beautiful furniture.  I always tore out pictures - ideas for my own rooms (and those of my friends).  Pages of the most interesting rooms and beautiful furnishings. Brilliant designers - lovely placement of unique things -  pictures showing the most interesting furnishings and items.  And always a good write-up of art shows around the country.  I finally subscribed.  But new people must be running the show.  People whose taste is radically different from mine.   I am cancelling my subscription.  The beautiful pictures of beautiful rooms are gone.  The pictures are done from weird angles and walls and ceilings dominate most all the pictures - walls and ceilings - I mean it - walls and ceilings with the furnishings only partially visible in any pictures (artistic in the editors mind? )  ugh.   What is visible is done from such weird angles that the angles produce a sort of mild nausea. Some people may find odd angled pictures dominated by walls and ceilings interesting but I DO NOT.   I am disgusted now by a magazine that used to be a delight.  I just canceled my subscription.  So sad - what happened to this beautiful magazine.
