Recently I ve been getting more and more frustrated about worktop space in my kitchen. My kitchen is a decent size but I never seem to have enough worktop space, especially if I m making several recipes at once, or cooking a particular ingredient-heavy meal. So I looked into ways of adding additional space that wouldn t take up too much room. My budget was tight but I found some really great solutions in Ikea. My error. The 3D planner is compatible with 10.6.8 and 10.7.1 per Ikea. However, it would appear that it is a plugin that works with a browser and not a stand alone application.

2. Mount the disk image (open/run the downloaded file) if not mounted automatically

How to Make a Desk Using a Kitchen Cabinet (12 Steps) | eHow

Place the cabinet in a work area. Adjust the fence on the circular saw to make a 5-inch wide cut. Turn the cabinet upside down so that the base is upright and vertical. Saw around perimeter of the base with the fence riding along the edge of the cabinet bottom to cut 5 inches off the bottom of the cabinet. LA creative director and designer Sarah Sherman Samuel and her husband, Rupert Samuel, thought nothing of tearing out the cabinets in their LA bungalow with their own bare hands. I have no idea how it happened, but this past week was one of those blink-and-it-is-over type of weeks. All of the sudden it was Friday morning and I was hit with the realization that I hadn't organized one single thing all week. The horror right?

As far as our kitchen goes, the good news is that we have begun installing trim, toe kick and moulding! I am hoping to have a full kitchen update for y'all very soon; we definitely needed to step back and take a small break to troubleshoot a few issues that have come up as we near the end of the renovation. One problem is in regards to a major appliance/kitchen island snafu. We also have some cabinet moulding decisions to make and the Mr. and I are not seeing eye-to-eye. The basic corner hutch is a triangle, two sides of which face the wall. Use either lumber or plywood to make the sides of the cabinet, but plywood is the easiest to use. Cut two panels for use as the sides; join them at the back with cleats or 90-degree metal braces. Use this V-shaped case to determine the proper size for the shelves that fit inside; make them flush with the outside front edges of the sides (bevel the edges of the case to create a flat front with the shelves). The top and bottom of the case should be securely attached to the sides.

#Improving reception of under-cabinet kitchen radio - antenna resolved

I have a Sony ICF-CD543-RM kitchen radio/CD player that mounts under a cabinet. It has poor FM radio reception for stations that come in fine on other radios.

It has a two-foot-long power cord, and moving this and/moving myself around the kitchen affects the reception.

The Amazon page indicates that there is no external antenna input. The AM antenna is internal. The FM antenna is the power cord. So you don't have a lot of great choices other than positioning the power cord where it gets the best reception.

Perhaps the best of your bad choices is to plug the radio into an extension cord (a cheap extension cord is fine, the longer the better) and play around with placement of the extension cord. Positioning the cord higher, closer to the outside wall, should give the best results, but the mere fact of increased antenna length should make the biggest difference.
