How does the NEW Floor Plan Beta differ from the previous floor planner?

Our new software is similar to what you are used to with a few major changes to improve your 3D design experience, including navigating 360° around your interior spaces plus an enhanced catalog of big name brands!

Why was the image quality suddenly reduced, i.e. why do I see better rendering quality on another computer?

Our new Floor Plan Beta can recognize how hard your computer is working to automatically alter the image quality according to the performance of your device.

How are you able to view 2D and 3D modes?

To switch between 2D and 3D modes, click on the full screen icon located at the bottom left of the 3D image screen. You can also simply click on the Tab button on your keyboard.

What's in the catalog?

We have infused the catalog with a whole new collection of real brand name furniture items. Check them out!

Are you able to resize products?

At the moment, you are not able to resize products. We will be adding certain items to the catalog, including cabinets, doors, and windows, that can be resized in one of our upcoming releases. Only products that can be altered in real life will be able to be resized. This means that the products will only come in the shapes, sizes and colors in which they are sold.

Is there 3D rendering?

In our current Beta, 3D rendering is unavailable, however this is set to appear in one of our upcoming releases. In the meantime, we do have a snapshot feature that will take a screenshot of your design and download it directly to your computer.

Do we have DWG file exports?

Although we do not offer exports of DWG files at the moment, this is on our roadmap of future features. In the meantime, we do have a snapshot feature that will take a screenshot of your design and download it directly to your computer.

Which browsers do you support?

The NEW Floor Plan Beta works best on a Google Chrome, Internet Explorer 11 and up, as well as the most recent version of Firefox.

What do I do if I come across a bug?

Please be aware that Floor Plan Beta is still in its testing phase, with work still being done to solve certain bugs. Try clearing the cache on your browser and re-opening the site before you report a bug to us.

How do I create a room?

You are able to create a room in two different ways:

1. Add a pre-shaped room to your design. To do this, go to "Build" and then "Rooms" to choose a room template to fit into your design.

How do I add and extend walls?

To add additional walls, go to "Build", and click "Rooms" then choose Interior walls to start drawing.

How do I change wall height?

To set the default measurements for all walls that you will draw, click on "Settings", and then change the value next to "Global Wall Height".
