It s a little hard to find if you re not from the area, as it s off of Route 1. Yelp did not disappoint. I went for a coarse bratwurst, knockwurst, with spaztle for a side. The brat wasn t all that and I wasn t impressed in terms of taste/texture. However, the knockwurst was another story. It was excellent, with a nice sear, and great texture. The flavor was tremendous. The spaztle was nicely fried and it melts in your mouth when you get past the crispy exterior. Although it s not made in-house, the linzer torte is quite good. I like the sharp raspberry flavor and there s enough hazelnut flavor to the crust. Konditor Meister still has a better product but this isn t bad for the price. I had some cordial and efficient service during my trips here. I like the assortment of meats, and northern European products here. There aren t that many central European stores and restaurants anymore around these parts. I m really hopeful that this place will continue to provide quality meats.
