The Kitchen (2012) - IMDb Keep an eye out for The Kitchen I had the pleasure of seeing The Kitchen at the Tallgrass Film Festival in Wichita, KS. I have to say when I saw Tate Ellington was in it, I had it at the top of my list of films to check out that weekend. As, much as I was looking forward to seeing it, it was so much better than I had anticipated. The Kitchen is a very well acted and very funny film that I highly recommend. Keep an eye out for it on the festival circuit and hopefully wider release. I felt like it was cast just for me, with some of my favorite character actors and up and coming comedic actors. Tate Ellington, Matt Bush, Catherine Reitman and Baron Vaughan should all be in more stuff, and they all get to shine in this one. Overall, a great job was done with casting this film. The Kitchen itself is a well directed ensemble comedy. Director Ishai Setton does a great job of making you forget that the whole film takes place inside just a kitchen. The movement of the camera following different party goers helps it never feel claustrophobic like the one room film Tape. Will definitely check out Setton s other films.
