janice. you had an LJ birthday yesterday ,

congratulations !

i ll let the guys that know the books

janice ,

i make all my doors with the table saw and dado blades .

all my panels flat ( cheap is just 1/4 ply ),

or mostly i split my 3/4 wood and plane it to 1/4 ( saves wood ),

and either make little cut outs on the edges or cut shallow groves and paint .

rails and styles i grove in the middle for 1/2 by 1/4 wide .

the rails have a tenon 1/2 long. 1/4 thick .

with the same 1/4 dado set up ,and the fence set to 1/2 ( from fence face to outer edge of blades ) .

until i get a snug fit .

if you don t understand this. write me and i will make some dawings and explain better .
