Over the past months I have been working on building my new kitchen cabinets. So far I have build most of the cases. All the appliances have been ordered and I should receive them next sunday. I should then be able to build the last cabinets that need to be custom fit (built in oven, encased washer and dryer). Once thats done I will be able to install all the base cabinets and order the counter top with the necessary cut outs. I expect the whole project to be finish within 2 months (but I might be optimistic )

This past weekend I did finish phase 1 of the installation project which consisted of tearing down a section of the kitchen that was hiding the washer and dryer. Moving the water/drain/vent/electrical to a more appropriate location where the new stackable washer and dryer will be located (and encased in a cabinet). As far as festool is concerned I did use my C12 extensively to hang the drywall but my tool of choices where my propane torch for the plumbing and my multimeter to help me rewire all the outlets. Future phases will involve more Festools

In the following pictures you can see the current poor state of the kitchen. In the corner you can see the new drywall and the future location of the washer and dryer. All the appliance you see will be gone except for the fridge.

Next step is to finish the hardwood floor (good thing I had an extra case) and to mud/paint the drywall.
