Kitchen Essentials | Detoxinista just got the spiral slicer from your link! your noodle recipes convinced me. Can t wait to try them all out! Yay! Hope you love your noodles! Is there a particular brand of coconut oil that you prefer to use? I read on Sarah Wilson s website that she eats 2 tablespoons of it straight out of the jar every day do you typically cook with your coconut oil or eat it alone as she does? I m using a jar from Tropical Traditions at the moment, but I also like the Nutiva brand which is pretty affordable on Amazon. I find that most coconut oils that are labeled organic and extra-virgin work well, regardless of the brand. I cook with coconut oil often, and like to use it in my raw almond butter fudge recipes but I usually don t eat it straight from the jar. so i just added the breville juicer to my cart on amazon using your link before i hit check out i want to be sure that you personally use it and endorse it. i want to make sure im picking a good juicer for my very first one Yep, that s the one I own myself! I love it. great. mine arrives dec 14th cant wait. im going to kick off with a 3 day cleanse. any beginner combo s i should try? I d start off with light greens, like romaine and cucumber, and add in an apple and lemon to make it taste like lemonade! Hi Megan, what chocolate chips do you use? The highest percentage of cocoa I can find that are actually decent is Sunspire s 65% dark chocolate chips. All others seem to have a lot of additives in them. Thanks! I do like the Sunspire brand. I also like the 70% dark chocolate chunks at Whole Foods, but sometimes they re not available, so you can always chop up your favorite high-quality dark chocolate bar, too! Hi Sarah! Yes, I do love my Breville juicer. It was recommended to me as a good starting juicer, because it s so quick and easy to use, and it does much better with leafy greens than other centrifugal models. It does well with sturdy greens, such as romaine hearts and lacitno kale leaves, but not as well with delicate greens, such as parsley. Jann says Hi just discovered your website thanks so much for the inspiration on trying some new recipes. ANYWAY just wondering if you were aware of the concersns and/or if so if you have different information.
